Hi, I’m Astrid — founder turned executive coach and facilitator.
I partner with leaders and organizations to expand their capacity for growth, fulfillment, creativity, and enjoyment along the way.
What is expanding capacity all about?
We — as individuals and organizations — will always come across new “boulders,” challenges that range frustrating to debilitating to existential at their most extreme. A previously fulfilling career suddenly feels meaningless. A co-founder leaves. Once-steady growth feels elusive. A previously high-performing team suddenly can’t agree on anything.
Often, when met with a challenge like this, we seek to apply intellect to “solving” the problem: shall we bring out the jackhammer and start battering a way through the rock? Become a strong enough climber to scale to the top? Give up and decide on a different path?
Expanding capacity is about growing yourself — your resources, your perspective, the quality of your being and the skillfulness of your doing — so big that suddenly this boulder looks like a pebble, or maybe even a stepping stone.
Expanding Capacity … A Comic Strip by Astrid
My Approach
My approach to expanding capacity is not one-size fits all — it integrates developmental psychology, contemplative practices, and organizational systems thinking. I draw from neurobiology (Sarah Peyton), team dynamics (Patrick Lencioni), conscious leadership (Diana Chapman), Co-Active principles (Kimsey-House), and mindfulness traditions. Central to my methodology is the recognition that true growth emerges at the intersection of compassionate awareness and courageous action — creating spaces where clients can both fully accept what is, while boldly stepping toward what could be.
Clients describe me as warm, playful, and focused on results. I hold clients accountable to their highest aspirations — without judgment, but with deep trust in their ability to transform and grow.

I work on a monthly retainer that covers our coaching sessions, plus the time I’ll spend on prep, follow-up and any between-session support you need.
My monthly retainer for 1-on-1 coaching is $1,000 per month for bi-weekly sessions (2 per month), or $1,800 per month for weekly sessions (4 per month). For people who are paying out of pocket or whose company cannot afford this rate, I also offer a limited number of coaching slots on a sliding scale.
If you’re curious about coaching please reach out — I’ll work with you to create an offering that meets your needs, or introduce you to someone in my network who I trust who can.

The monthly retainer covers all scheduled sessions, my preparation time, follow-up work, and any support you might need between sessions via email or text. This may also include tactical sessions or introductions that serve your goals. The intention is to create a container that accelerates your progress towards the person you want to become and the life you want to build.

Most facilitation projects are customized and we will work together to create something that honors your budget and goals. Hour-long facilitated sessions start at $500 for up to 6 participants.
I’d love to hear from you if you have a workshop in mind! Please reach out via my contact form.

I require clients to make a minimum commitment of three months to our container. This is really a commitment to yourself, the client, to make the time and space in your life to do this work. Once we hit three months, we’ll work on a month-to-month basis.
Average engagements tend to last between 6-12 months, depending on the audacity of the goals and the terrain we’re traveling on. Once we feel we’ve reached a natural point of completion, we’ll schedule a “Completion Call” to reflect on the process. When you are ready for another level-up and if you feel that I might serve as a good guide for that, my door will be open to you in the future!

I work with high achievers who seek to live in alignment with their purpose, so that the way they are being and what they are doing supports a harmonious, fulfilled, and more effortless life. On the outside, this might look like an entrepreneur, an executive, a creative, a parent — anyone with big dreams and goals for themselves and a commitment to actualizing those dreams with intention and in alignment with their values.

This depends on your goals. Most clients experience an “aha” moment in the first session or two, and begin to feel the lived impact of coaching within the first two months.
More About Me
From my earliest years, I've been drawn to catalyzing transformational experiences in others. As a teenager, this manifested through guiding peers as a camp counselor and outdoor expedition leader — roles that taught me the profound impact of creating containers for growth.
Entering the business world, I naturally gravitated toward leadership positions where I could architect environments for individual and collective flourishing. By 25, I was directing a department of 13, and soon after, I embraced the ultimate leadership challenge of founding and scaling my own venture, a healing foods company that supports women’s health called Agni.
Throughout these experiences, I discovered my deepest fulfillment came from coaching leaders and facilitating experiences that unlock latent potential. This clarity led me to step away from my business and dedicate myself to the crafts of coaching and facilitation, primarily serving clients across the technology sector while also supporting non-profit leaders and teams.
When I’m not in 1:1 sessions or leading workshops, you can often find me trail running, reading sci-fi, cooking without a recipe, or writing down the adorable thing my 4- or 2-year old said that morning.
